Town Museum
The town Museum in Bečej was founded in the autumn of 1953. During 1960 the institution changes its name into Museum and Art Gallery. Since then a specific form of cultural activity has been taking place in our town and that is, above all, collecting and preservation of the overall cultural heritage of our living place as a separate administrative unit, as well as a part of a bigger region of which our town is an inseparable part.
As a founder, our Municipality has also been a main sponsor of the Museum for over 50 years of its existence.
